As part of our efforts aimed at re-orienting the youths of the Niger Delta Region in Nigeria, the foundation led a delegation of youths to the Niger Delta Youth Summit Held in Asaba, Delta state, with the theme - NUMEROUS JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTHS OUTSIDE OIL.
The meeting emphasized the need for youths to shun violence and embrace the developmental efforts of the President Goodluck Jonathan led transformation agenda. Various guests speakers were invited to sensitize the youths on opportunities in Tourism, Farming, Business, Manpower Development, Enterpreneurship ect.
The meeting was well attended by youths of the states of the Niger Delta region and various meaningful contributions were made by participants who showed interest in the affairs of the organizers of the summit - NIGER DELTA YOUTH ORGANIZATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (NDYP-SUD).
At the end of the meeting a communiques was raised from the high points of the meeting and recommendations were made to sustain the developmental strides of this administration and also encourage youth participation.
The Communique drafting committee was chaired by Barr. Aniso Abraham O., president of our dear IZONFEST DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION.
